Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Isle T10 2021 thing. It’s a cricket game, you see, like them fellas playing with bats and balls. Real fast game, they say. Spice Isle, they call it. Don’t ask me why, probably some fancy reason.
This game, it happened back in 2021. Yep, a while ago. They played it in a place called Grenada. Big stadium there, National Cricket Stadium, in St. George’s, they call it. Sounds grand, don’t it? But it’s just a big field, really, where them boys run around.
- Teams: Lots of teams played. Don’t remember all their names, too many for my old head.
- Matches: They played a whole bunch of matches. Quick ones, T10 they call it, means it’s over fast.
- Dates: Started ‘round April 5th and went on till April 18th. Springtime, nice weather for running around, I reckon.
- Place: Like I said, St. George’s. Big stadium, but prob’ly still just grass and dirt, like any other field.
They had a schedule, you know, like a calendar. Told ya when each game was gonna be. You could find it online, they said. Websites and apps, all that fancy stuff. Cricket dot com, Fan code, somethin’ like that. My grandkids, they know all about that. Me? I just hear about it from them.
This Dream11 thing, that was part of it too. Sounded like some kinda game inside the game. Folks pickin’ players, makin’ teams, winnin’ somethin’ or other. Young folks like that kinda stuff. Keeps ’em busy, I guess.
They had live scores, too. Means you could know what was happenin’ as it was happenin’. On that there internet again. Fast as lightnin’, they say. Back in my day, we waited for the newspaper to tell us who won. Sometimes, we didn’t even know till we saw the fellas walkin’ home, heads up or heads down.
Now, this Spice Isle T10, it was under somethin’ called the Grenada Cricket Association. Big words, just means the folks in charge of cricket in Grenada. They organized it all, made sure them boys had bats and balls and a place to play.
It’s all on the internet now, they tell me. Match reports, schedules, scores, everything. You just type in somethin’ like “Isle T10 2021 schedule” and boom, there it is. Magic, I tell ya, pure magic. But for an old lady like me, it’s just a bunch of words on a screen. I’d rather hear the kids yellin’ when their team scores.
This T10, it’s faster than them other cricket games. Less time, more action, I guess. The young folks like it that way. Short attention spans, they got. Always in a hurry. Me? I like things a bit slower. But hey, times change, don’t they?
So, that’s about all I know ‘bout this Isle T10 2021. Fast game, lotsa teams, played in Grenada. You want more, you go ask them young’uns. They know all about it. They got that fancy internet and all them apps. Me, I’m just gonna sit here and have a cup of tea.
And if you ask me, watchin’ them fellas runnin’ around is fun and all, but nothin’ beats a good garden. Now that’s somethin’ that’ll feed ya, not just entertain ya. But, to each their own, I say. They got their cricket, I got my tomatoes.
